Maryland Health Care Commission 2014 Family Nursing Facility Survey

The Wilson Health Care Center scored high on the 2014 Maryland Family Nursing Facility Survey.

Families recommend the Wilson Health Care Center at Asbury Methodist Village for their loved ones! In The Maryland Health Care Commission’s 2014 Family Survey, 94 percent of family members said they would recommend Wilson Health Care to others, compared to an average 88 percent of respondents statewide.

Wilson earned 3.7 percent out of a possible 4 on the quality of staff and administration and residents’ rights and autonomy. We’re proud of the work we’ve done, and continue to do, to earn scores like these. Two years ago, Asbury Methodist Village embarked on a culture change mission designed to give residents a greater voice in their care and daily living preferences, particularly in our health care neighborhoods. Each day, our associates work with residents and family members to help create the living environment they want and to honor their choices - including dining and daily schedules.

The Commission’s Family Nursing Facility Survey began in 2005 as a way to measure family members' experiences and satisfaction with the state’s skilled nursing centers. The full survey is available to the public on the MHCC Consumer Guide to Long Term Care.

We remain committed to continually improving the Wilson Health Care experience for short- and long-term residents and their family members. Thank you for your vote of confidence.
