Valentines Illustrate 60+
Years of Love

Park View resident and artist Duane McKenna began crafting humorous but lovely Valentines for his wife, Elizabeth, when they began courting more than 60 years ago. She has saved every one, and to sort through the collection is to travel a timeline of their marriage and life together.

Osher Institute & Strathmore at Asbury

February isn’t just for lovers, it’s for learners, too. Three classes offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute kick off at Asbury this month. From an exploration of Robin Williams’ life in film to performances by jazz and big-band talents, take a look at just a few of the programs and courses available to Asbury residents.

With no shortage of beautiful vistas, landscapes and wildlife, it’s a photographer’s playground, and John Villforth has captured them all. A Poet at 75? Path to "Old" Is Filled with Wonderful Twists
