Wilson Health Care Center is renovating its short-term rehabilitative services wing, among other projects.

If you happen to visit the first floor of the Wilson Health Care Center these days, you’re likely to hear the sounds of progress.

A few months ago, Asbury Methodist Village began a major enhancement of Wilson’s healing environment in order to continue providing Montgomery County with exceptional rehabilitative services and skilled nursing care.

While we know that the bangs and buzzes of construction aren’t exactly music to anyone’s ears, we ask that you bear with us. We’re making Wilson Health Care Center even better.

Currently, construction workers are busy in the Transitional Care wing of Wilson Health Care Center. Major projects there include a large, contemporary Residential Lounge where those receiving short-term rehabilitative services – and all Wilson residents – can relax, read, watch programs and visit with friends and family members; a spacious spa treatment area; and, the renovation of residential suites and the creation of additional private rooms.

Some major changes will be unseen, but definitely not unimportant. For instance, Wilson is upgrading its heating and air conditioning systems to give Wilson’s residents and associates greater control over temperatures in the common areas, including the living and dining areas, corridors and new Residential Lounge.

For more than 85 years, Asbury Methodist Village has been a leading continuing care retirement community in the Washington, D.C. metro region. The Wilson Health Care renovations are an important part of our commitment to offering outstanding senior living and health services for those who live on Asbury's campus and in the surrounding community.
