National Geographic Photographer Aims to Preserve Endangered Species

National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore visited Asbury in March.

In March, we were honored to host National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore at Asbury Methodist Village, and he was amazed by the natural beauty of our 130-acre campus. Joel has been busy photographing the world's endangered species in an epic series called Photo Ark.

He describes his project in this way: "The goal of the Photo Ark is to document biodiversity, show what’s at stake and to get people to care while there’s still time. Over 6,000 species have been photographed to date, with more to come."
