Visitors to Asbury’s campus are often captivated by the beauty of its grounds, which boast meadows filled with birdsong, thousands of mature trees along its walkways and beautifully landscaped beds.

But these days, there’s plenty to see inside, too.

Construction of a pub and social lounge is underway adjacent to Asbury’s largest dining venue, the Hefner Dining Room. The Bistro adds a beautiful, contemporary space where residents can gather with old friends and meet new ones. And Asbury was excited to be chosen as a finalist in the 2014 Environments for Aging Remodel/Renovation Competition for renovations to social areas in the Diamond Apartments Building (pictured).

Meanwhile, recently launched enhancements to the five star-rated Wilson Health Care Center will create a new resident lounge and more private suites for Asbury residents and those requiring high-quality short- or long-term rehabilitative services or skilled nursing care in Gaithersburg, Md.

These renovations are the work of THW Design, an Atlanta-based architectural design firm with clients worldwide.
