Ned manages the Bargain Mart whose proceeds benefit the Benevolent Care Fund. When I moved to Asbury, it was Ned who took furniture and household goods I no longer had room for and gave me names of reliable off-campus places that could take other items. He helps residents who aren’t physically able to transport their items and is always cheerful. The Bargain Mart is a major asset of Asbury and Ned is the one who makes it work so well. - Carol Watkins

At any hour of the day, Ned cheerfully (and on time) collects contributions for Bargain Mart. Nothing is too large or too small and he always comes equipped with the necessary help and equipment. Ned’s gift is both brains and brawn. - Frances Stickler
