You’ll find a focus on wellness that permeates the entire Asbury campus. There is a deep commitment to promoting all of the dimensions of wellness at every stage of life – not just physical wellness, but the more intangible qualities of emotional, social, intellectual, vocational and spiritual wellness. Every day, residents have access to a choice of programs and events that help foster a sense of community with their neighbors. A full-time chaplain is available to guide residents in exploring their spiritual journey. Families and friends are encouraged to take part in all of these opportunities at Wilson. Wilson has deluxe, private and semi-private living accommodations. Regardless of where they live in Wilson, residents are free to add their personal touches their residence (It is their HOME) with treasured keepsakes, furniture and pictures. Wilson isn’t just a place to receive great care, it’s a place to live.

Skilled nursing care and so much more

While providing exceptional care for physical needs is the top priority, Wilson is dedicated to serving the whole person. You’ll be delighted by the daily choices of menu items – even steak or lobster, on occasion. And you’ll be engaged by the opportunities to learn, reflect, be entertained and even serve others through volunteer opportunities. And this year, Wilson is engaging in a new partnership with a special organization called Planetree, a national, not-for-profit with a philosophy of promoting practices that give residents more control over their lives. It’s part of an initiative that will be introduced at all five Asbury communities to advance the excellence of the entire organization. Asbury Methodist Village is the only continuing care retirement community in Montgomery County that has earned accreditation from the national Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities/Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. All accommodations are certified for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, with managed care programs accepted as well.
