Wilson Health Care Center provides 24-hour skilled nursing care for older adults.

When you or a loved one are dealing with a health challenge, knowing that you’re in good hands can make all the difference. What makes Wilson so special? As part of Asbury Methodist Village, it’s a place with a long tradition of doing its utmost to promote the best interests of seniors. Located on Asbury’s 130-acre campus in the heart of Gaithersburg, Wilson is an integral part of Asbury’s continuum of services. Wilson provides 24-hour skilled care when Asbury residents need rehabilitation therapy, long-term care or even memory support services for Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. All of these services also are available to non-residents.

A fully developed range of services

Wilson Health Care Center provides 24-hour skilled care for a range of needs, including:

  • Short- and long-term rehabilitation therapy
  • Residents transitioning from a hospital stay to home recovery
  • Residents who require assistance with daily tasks
  • Residents who require a blend of intermediate and comprehensive nursing services
  • Memory care in a specially designed neighborhood
  • Respite care

You don’t have to be a current resident at Asbury to receive services at Wilson Health Care Center, whether for a short term stay following surgery or long term living. No entrance fee is required.

In the 2012 Maryland Facility Family Survey, Wilson Health Care Center received outstanding results:

  • 94% of families would “definitely recommend” Wilson Health Care Center. The statewide average is 90%.
  • The overall rating of care is 8.8 out of 10, compared with the statewide average of 8.4
  • Wilson’s highest-ranking category is Autonomy and Residents' Rights, which ranked 3.8 out of 4.0. The state average is 3.5.
