Asbury Antiques Appraisal Event

Asbury's Rosborough Theater once again will be the setting for two popular courses offered by Johns Hopkins University's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Registration is open now for "A Double Celebration and Discovery: Verdi and Wagner at 200" and "Some Like It Wilder." Classes will be held morning and afternoon each Monday from Sept. 16 through Dec. 9.

A fresh look for Diamond

Asbury's largest apartment building has a whole new look. The Diamond Apartments just underwent a facelift that includes new carpet, paint, furniture, artwork, shelving and light fixtures for the main level and all residential floors. The common areas were re-designed to include a stone fireplace with comfortable new seating arrangements and a library with beautiful new woodwork and WiFi access.

Resident Spotlight: Dr. George Stosur

One of the greatest benefits of living at Asbury is being surrounded by distinguished and accomplished neighbors, like Dr. George Stosur. A scientist/geologist recently retired from the U.S. Government Service, George Stosur is now a part-time teacher and a guest speaker on cruise ships, covering topics such as world energy use, maritime sciences, environmental problems and unusual earth/sea phenomena. He's also an avid gardener with an interesting love story.
