A Continuing Care Retirement
Community, or CCRC, brings together in one location a wide range of
residence choices, lifestyle options, services, health care and amenities.
This helps to create an environment that can meet the needs and desires of a
wide range of seniors, from those who lead an active lifestyle to those who
may need some assistance with daily activities, or those who require more
skilled care.
Asbury Methodist Village is proud to be an accredited CCRC, which means
the community has met a rigorous set of Standards of Excellence developed by
the Continuing Care
Accreditation Commission (CCAC). Those standards are based on principles
widely accepted and applied in the aging services field. CCAC accreditation
provides consumers, regulators, bankers, insurers and the general public a
way to identify organizations that meet strict criteria for good business
practices and the delivery of high-quality services to older persons. The
standards cover the areas of Governance, Finance and Strategy, as well as
Health and Wellness. By and large, the greater purpose of the CCAC is to be
instrumental in helping to create and encourage communities to enhance the
personal dignity, privacy and safety of residents/clients, and thereby
protect individual independence and self-determination. To learn more about
