The AARP Driver Safety Program, the nation's first and largest refresher course for drivers age 50 and older, has helped millions of drivers remain safe on today's roads. The course is designed to help tune up driving skills, explain safe driving strategies, and update knowledge of the rules of the road. Learn about normal age-related physical changes, and how to adjust driving to allow for these changes. Reduce traffic violations, the likelihood of crashes, and chances for injuries. Some insurance companies operating in Maryland consider drivers who take the course qualified for an auto insurance premium reduction or discount.
$12 for AARP Members and $14 for non-AARP Members. Registration and payment are due in advance.

Statistics tell us that 3 out of 4 persons will at some time in their lives experience a mental health challenge. If you find yourself struggling with life and unable to manage the challenges, you are encouraged to reach out for help. There are people – family, friends, and professionals – who can help you work through your problems and support you in re-establishing your spiritual, emotional, and psychological well-being.
The Mental Health Education Fair gives those who attend access to some of the resources that are available at Asbury Methodist Village and in the communities beyond our borders that serve to promote mental health and well-being.

That's the recipe for Asbury's traditional Summer Solstice Celebration. Spend an afternoon with Asbury residents marking summer’s official arrival – and see what it’s really like to live at Asbury. You can count on music, food and good times at this outdoor garden party. This year the entertainment is a performance brought to us through The Strathmore. We are fortunate to have Nasar Abadey, percussionist, drummer and composer; founder, leader and driving force of SUPERNOVA perform at the Summer Solstice! The concert will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
You’re invited to join the fun from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 21.
